Audition Requirements
학사 - Undergraduate Audition (Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Science, Undergraduate Diploma):
-Applicants in percussion and timpani must demonstrate thorough knowledge of fundamental techniques by presenting at least one study that shows technical proficiency on snare drum, timpani, and one of the mallet instruments.
-Applicants will be tested on their knowledge of the 26 rudiments of snare drumming and all major and minor scales on the mallet instruments.
석사 - Graduate Audition Repertoire (Master of Music, Professional Studies Diploma):
The requirements are the same as for the undergraduate audition, plus
-Applicants must prepare three contrasting orchestral excerpts.
-Applicants must perform a program of complete works from the standard repertoire that represents contrasting stylistic periods. (Repertoire should be performed from memory as appropriate)
